Description

Python program for generating networks with junctions as described in 'A technique for modelling networks with junctions and what it tells us about the Roman road network of Gaul'. Also Excel file containing data on Roman road junctions in Gaul filtered by the criteria described in the paper - i.e. more than 5 km from settlement, not a cross road, not significantly affected by topography.

Roman road junction data is explained in file. Python program is explained in paper 'A technique for modelling networks with junctions and what it tells us about the Roman road network of Gaul'. Follow instructions in comments at top of program, including on how to compile ancillary fortran file.
