Description

This dataset contains annual information on reported dengue cases, dengue incidence, and the national average temperature in Mexico for the period between 1990 and 2023. The data are compiled in a Microsoft Excel file and were used to analyze the relationship between temperature variations and dengue epidemiology at the national level. The dengue data include the total number of reported cases and incidence rates, obtained from official epidemiological surveillance records. The temperature variable corresponds to the annual national average temperature, calculated from climatological records. This dataset allows for analysis of long-term trends in dengue transmission and its association with temperature, and may be useful for researchers studying climate-sensitive infectious diseases, epidemiology, and public health planning.
