Description

This dataset contains the original raw microscopy images and Western blot images that support the findings in the research article entitled "Gastric Cancer-Secreted Galectin-1 Promotes Peritoneal Mesothelial-Mesenchymal Transition to Prime Peritoneal Metastasis Soil". All data are original experimental results from the study, including immunofluorescence images, morphological images of peritoneal mesothelial cells, and uncropped Western blot figures. These data are used to demonstrate the effect of gastric cancer-secreted Galectin-1 on peritoneal mesothelial-mesenchymal transition (Peritoneal MMT) and peritoneal metastasis.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the experimental data All raw microscopy and Western blot images were generated from experiments conducted in the study titled "Gastric Cancer-Secreted Galectin-1 Promotes Peritoneal Mesothelial-Mesenchymal Transition to Prime Peritoneal Metastasis Soil". ## 1. Cell lines and culture conditions - [Cell line names, e.g., SGC-7901, HGC-27] - Culture medium: [e.g., RPMI-1640 with 10% FBS] - Culture conditions: [e.g., 37°C, 5% CO2] ## 2. Antibodies and reagents - [List antibodies, e.g., anti-Galectin-1, anti-E-cadherin, anti-Vimentin] - [List other key reagents, e.g., TGF-β1] ## 3. Western blot (WB) - Protein extraction: [e.g., RIPA lysis buffer with phosphatase inhibitors] - SDS-PAGE: [e.g., 10% gel, 30 μg protein loaded] - Transfer: [e.g., 0.22 μm PVDF membrane, 300 mA for 90 min] - Primary/secondary antibodies: [e.g., 1:1000 incubation overnight at 4°C] - Imaging system: [e.g., Bio-Rad ChemiDoc MP] ## 4. Immunofluorescence/confocal microscopy - Fixation: [e.g., 4% PFA] - Permeabilization: [e.g., 0.1% Triton X-100] - Antibody incubation: [e.g., anti-E-cadherin, anti-Vimentin] ## 5. Image analysis - Software: [e.g., ImageJ for WB quantification] - Quantitative analysis: [e.g., band intensity normalization to GAPDH] ## 6. Experimental replicates - Number of replicates: [e.g., n = 3 independent experiments]
