Description

This dataset contains anonymized survey responses from 682 commuters in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The survey was conducted to examine how heatwaves affect commuter health, travel behavior, perceived travel comfort, and willingness to pay for more comfortable transport options. The dataset includes sociodemographic information, trip frequency, primary travel mode, usual trip purpose, heatwave-related health problems, perceived comfort impact, behavioral adaptation during heatwaves, reasons for changing or not changing travel behavior, and support for government interventions. The dataset was used to develop and analyze a Bayesian Belief Network model for understanding heatwave-related commuter vulnerability and adaptive travel behavior in the Global South.
