Description

The aim of this study was to evaluate and characterize mutations induced by targeted base editing through DddA cytidine deaminase (mitoTALECD) and transcription activator-like effector nucleases (mitoTALEN) in the potato mitochondrial genome. The dataset includes Sanger sequencing of PCR products generated by amplifying the mitoTALECD and mitoTALEN target sequence (orf125) in the potato mitochondrial genome, for 21 (D1) and 22 (D2) mitoTALECD independent lines and for 3 (T1) and 5 (T2) mitoTALEN independent lines.
