Pahari Dataset
Description
This dataset contains a manually annotated Part-of-Speech (POS) tagged corpus for the Pahari language, a low-resource Indo-Aryan language spoken in parts of Pakistan and India. The dataset includes [insert number] sentences and [insert number] tokens, each labeled with a fine-grained POS tag based on a custom tagset designed for this language. The tagset was developed through a comparative analysis of existing Urdu tagsets (Muaz et al., Sajjad & Schmid, CRULP, and Khan et al.) and adapted to the specific syntactic and morphological features of the Pahari language.
