Description

This dataset contains survey responses from 326 participants in a yoga-focused sample, with each row representing one respondent and columns covering demographics, perceived health, yoga experience and frequency, other physical activity/sport participation, and -related beliefs and experiences. It also includes multiple psychometric measures and derived scale scores, including spiritual health/behavior subscales (SHA/SHB), WHO-5 well-being, DASS-21 depression/anxiety/stress, IPAQ physical activity items, and spirituality-related indices.

Steps to reproduce

To reproduce the study, first treat each row as one participant and identify the core variables used in the dataset: the grouping variable(s) for yoga participation or comparison groups, the demographic covariates, and the questionnaire items or total scores for well-being, distress, spirituality, and physical activity. Then compute the published scale scores from their item columns where needed, screen for missing data and valid cases, generate the descriptive statistics for the final analysis sample, and run the same inferential tests reported in the manuscript using those scale totals and grouping variables.
