Description

Here, we present new data on the mineral chemistry, whole-rock trace element, and platinum group element (PGE) geochemistry from the upper mantle peridotites (basal lherzolite, harzburgite, and dunite) and associated disseminated chromitite (high-Al type) in the Gomsiqe massif in the western Mirdita zone in northern Albanides. We will systematically discuss their petrogenesis and melt evolution to reveal the subduction initiation signature recorded in them.
