Digital Capability and Innovation Performance in FinTech Firms of Emerging Economies
Description
By integrating TAM, trust, and responsible innovation theories, this study aims to examine the impact of AI capability (AIC), data analytics capability (DAC), and digital platform capability (DPC) on digital innovation performance (DIP) in Bangladeshi fintech firms. This research also determines the mediation effect of digital innovation capability (DIC) on the links of AIC, DAC, DPC, and DIP, while the moderation role of digital leadership (DL) is between DIC and DIP. By using purposive sampling, data were collected from the employees, and using both PLS-SEM and necessary condition analysis (NCA), 341 respondents’ data were analysed. The findings confirm that AIC, DAC, and DPC significantly enhance DIP, with DIC serving as a substantial mediator and DL strengthening the innovation–performance relationship. This study contributes by integrating TAM, Trust, and Responsible Innovation theories into a unified framework, demonstrating how technological capabilities, absorptive capacity, and ethical leadership jointly drive sustainable digital innovation performance in emerging FinTech ecosystems.
