The database is predicated on Meteolub(™️) records, from which the Temperature-Humidity Index (THI) was derived using recorded temperature and humidity data. The THI is a significant indicator of the exposure of dairy cattle to heat stress, with data spanning from 1940 to 2024, collected at 10-minute intervals. The region under discussion is situated in the Torreón region of the Mexican state of Coahuila, at an altitude of 1,120 metres above sea level, and within the following coordinates: 24°47'35.16' to 25°41'29.04' N and 103°30'39.60' to 102°57'25.20' W.
