This research determine the effectiveness of dexmedetomidine against brain regional saturation (rSO2) in patients with TBI undergoing surgery. The finding of this research conclude that TBI patients who received dexmedetomidine had significantly higher rSO2 values at 1 hour and 2 hours postoperatively and showed a significant increase in rSO2 values at each measurement time compared to patients who received sufentanil.
