Description

Text neck or "scholar's neck" is the term used to describe forward head posture. Numerous variables, including protracted use of computers and mobile devices, contribute to FHP. To check the prevalence of FHP in mobile gamers in comparison to xbox gamers among young adults. An observational study. A total of 100 gamers took part in this study of age ranging between 18 to 30 years out of which 52 were mobile gamers and rest 48 are xbox gamers. The posture of neck and craniovertebral angle was measured in this study. According to the findings, mobile gamers had a far lower prevalence of FHP than Xbox gamers. This suggests that Xbox users have a forward-leaning posture compared to Mobile users. Young people who play on Xbox have much more FHP than those who play on mobile. This might be because people play video games on smaller gadgets that are held closer to their faces.
