The dataset contains the concentrations of heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Ni, Pb, Cr, Cd, As, Hg, and Co) in soil samples collected from five functional zones (Roadside, Pavement, Greenbelt, Square, and Playground) of urban parks in Guangzhou, South China. It also includes the calculated values for non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic health risk assessment for children and adults.
