Description

This dataset supports the review article on the effects of essential oil scents on the behavior of laboratory rodents (Klyuchnikova M. et al. Environment and Human: Ecological Studies. 2023. Vol. 13. No. 4). Here, we describe data from 77 articles retrieved from PubMed, with respect to the plant sources of the essential oils, the availability of data on the chemical composition of the essential oils, the sex and species of the experimental animals, human disease models, the parameters of exposure to the odors, and the behavioral assays.
