Description

Organic-walled microfossil (OWM) distribution from the Smalfjorden, Nyborg, Mortensnes, Stahpogieddi (Indreelva) formations of the upper Neoproterozoic Vestertana Group in Finnmark, northern Norway. OWM were point-counted on a glass slide form marked stratigraphic horizons, using a transmitted light microscope. This data is associated with a manuscript in review in Palaeo3 titled: "Life through an Ediacaran glaciation: shale- and diamictite-hosted organic-walled microfossil assemblages from the late Neoproterozoic of the Tanafjorden area, northern Norway".
