Description

Localized scleroderma (LS), also known as morphea, is an idiopathic immune-mediated inflammatory and sclerosing disease with cutaneous and extracutaneous manifestations. Early treatment initiation is critical to halt the progression and prevent irreversible tissue damage. This systematic review examines the use of systemic immunosuppressive therapies in LS, with a focus on skin efficacy.
