Description

I investigated the impact that making a video before writing an essay had on the organization and content development of a written essay. Using the attached rubric, I analyzed rubric scores for “Organization of the Whole Piece” and “Content and Argumentation w/in Paragraphs”. The video-first group received the treatment of first making a video before writing the essay. The no video-first group served as a control group who did not receive this treatment. Scores out of 100 are listed with the standard deviation - comparing the two groups.
