Description

This dataset contains publicly released W25 airport slot timetables from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) for São Paulo–Congonhas (CGH) and Recife (REC). Four Excel workbooks provide the BASELINE and LIVE releases for both airports. Together, they cover 154 local dates from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026 and contain 230,326 dated arrival and departure records. Each workbook includes its complete source table, a data dictionary, source links and checksums, published airport capacity parameters, and derived capacity audits and optimization results. The analyses examine 5-, 15-, and 60-minute capacity windows and test alternative starting phases for the 15-minute windows. Scenario-based retiming preserves every dated operation while minimizing the number of changed operations and, subsequently, the total minutes shifted. The alternative window starts are analytical scenarios. The public files do not identify the operative window-start phase or contain airline requests and historical priority rights. The optimization results should therefore be interpreted as capacity-constrained timetable scenarios, not implemented slot reallocations.

Steps to reproduce

Download and extract the ZIP archive. Open the four workbooks and use the source sheets, DataDictionary, Sources and Capacity tabs to identify the published schedules and model parameters. Recount dated arrivals and departures in the 5-, 15- and 60-minute capacity windows, then compare the counts with WindowAudit. ScenarioResults, PhaseSeparation and OptimizedChanges document the tested 15-minute window starts and the resulting timetable changes.
