Peter HansenDescription
Raw data from targeted mass spectrometry of uterine fluid and blood of cows are provided. In the first experiment, the metabolome of blood plasma was compared to that of uterine fluid for lactating dairy cows at day 50 of ges tation. In the second experiment, uterine fluid and blood plasma were collected from Angus and Brahman beef cows at day 0 and 7 of the estrous cycle. Cows were fed a bolus of rumen-protected methionine or control bolus 12 hours before collection.
