The effects of implantable collamer lens ICL implantation in high myopia patients’ mental health

A total of 43 patients (n=43) underwent Visian ICL V4 implantation surgery at the Second People's Hospital of Foshan between 2021 and 2022. All patients underwent mental state assessments using the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) before surgery, one week after surgery, and one month after surgery. Additionally, ophthalmology-related examinations were conducted after surgery. ICL_survey_results.xls: patients' responses to each question. ICL_eye_examination.xlsx: eye examination of patients after surgery survey_scoring_method.docs: how SDS and SAS score are calculated survey_questions.docs: questions have been asked to patients to collect their SDS, and SAS scores to evaluate their mental health
