Chemical data from expeditions in the Kara, Laptev and East Siberian Seas in 2017 and 2018
Description
Dataset includes hydrographic and chemical data from bottle samples obteined during expeditions of Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of Russian Academy of Sciences according to program "Ecosystem of the Seas of the Siberian Arctic" which has been implementing since 2007. Expeditions were on the R/V Akademik Mstislav Keldysh in the Kara, Laptev and East Siberian Seas in August-September in 2017 and 2018 (69th and 72nd cruises). Samples data include surface samples from ship flow-through system (1st sheet of file) and samples from water column on complex oceanographic stations (2nd sheet of file). This includes T, S, pH, total alkalinity (Alk), nutrients (silicates - Si, nitrates - NO3, phosphorus - PO4) and calculated carbonate system parameters (parcial pressure of CO2 - pCO2 in μatm; aragonite saturation state - ΩAr). Hydrographic parameters (T, S, depth) were recovered along with CTD (SBE 911 plus), chemical parameters were determined on board during few hours after water sampling according to methods (Grasshoff, 2009; Parsons, 2013).
