Description

The data system of this study consists of two core datasets, aiming to systematically explore the relationship between inclusive agricultural insurance and rural consumption in China and reveal the action mechanisms of the income stabilization effect and the threshold effect. Among them, the Data-1 dataset covers the panel data of 31 provincial-level administrative regions in China from 2011 to 2019. It includes not only the basic information on the development level of inclusive agricultural insurance and the consumption expenditure of rural residents but also a series of control variables and mechanism variables involved in the paper. The selection of these variables is intended to comprehensively control the interference of regional heterogeneity on the research conclusions and accurately identify the internal path through which inclusive agricultural insurance affects rural consumption. In addition, to enhance the robustness of the research conclusions, this study has also constructed the Data-2 dataset. Taking prefecture-level cities as the observation units, this dataset also covers relevant information from 2011 to 2019, including the inclusive agricultural insurance indicators and rural consumption data of each prefecture-level city. By shifting the analysis unit from the provincial level to the prefecture-level level, the Data-2 dataset can effectively alleviate the estimation bias that may be caused by differences in regional division scales, provide multi-dimensional verification support for the core conclusions, and ensure the reliability and universality of the research findings.
