This dataset contains kriged and standardized soil property values from the Baishanzu 25-ha subtropical forest plot in China. It was developed to quantify spatial covariation among multiple soil properties. Five synchrony metrics were applied to characterize this covariation. The dataset includes the input soil data used for covariation quantification and the resulting values at the 50 by 50 m and 100 by 100 m scales. The results indicate that covariation among soil properties was consistently positive but weak in space, reflecting a high degree of soil heterogeneity. This dataset supports analyses of multivariate soil spatial structure in forest ecosystems.
