Experimental Study on the Flexural Strength of Sea Ice during Melting Season in Central Arctic Regions

Description

During the 13th Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition in August 2023, full-thickness ice blocks were collected from the ice floe in the central Arctic Ocean(82.3°N and 84.4°N ). Three-point bending tests in the field and laboratory were conducted to investigate the flexural strength and effective elastic modulus of sea ice during melting season. The data is free to download once the manuscript is accepted.
