Description

This is the pre-and post test results of students who attended the CVL intervention and it shows how their performance in critical visual reading changed after the intervention. Pre-post test essays were assessed on the basis of the rubrics developed by Romero and Bobkina (2021) which included four reader roles: Code Breaker, Text Participant, Text User, and Text Analyst each further divided to two subskills. The evaluation of each role followed a 0-3 scale (0 = unsatisfactory, 3 = excellent) producing a total score ranging from 0 to 6. Paired sample t-test results shows the mean differences were statistically significant.
