Description

The seagrass collected from marine sediments was extracted with aqueous and organic solvents, bioactive metabolites were identified and the anti-inflammatory activity of seagrass extract was analyzed using LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 as in vitro model. Seagrass extract was found to be non-toxic and showed potential activity against pro-inflammatory markers such as COX-2 and NO2
