Ecological forecasting for night monkeys within the Aotus lemurinus complex (Primates, Aotidae): Climate change and habitat vulnerability
Description
These raster files are the result of the ecological niche modeling of the three species of the complex Aotus lemurinus, which include A. griseimembra, A. lemurinus, and A. zonalis. These rasters depict areas with suitable habitat conditions for both present and historical periods. Additionally, the models project future conditions for the species under three Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs 126, 245, and 585), reflecting climate scenarios for the years 2040–2060. The future projections are based on the assembly of pixel summaries across five Global Circulation Models (GCMs): HadGEM3-GC31-LL, IPSL-CM6A-LR, ACCESS-CM2, EC-Earth3-Veg, and UKESM1-0-LL. These GCMs were chosen for their diverse approaches to simulating climate dynamics, enhancing model robustness by providing a broader view of future climatic variability. All raster layers are in binary format of probability of presence 0 and 1.
