A checklist for data collection was developed prior to data collection to ensure data on all the required variables was obtained. Variables extracted from secondary data sources included demographics such as age and sex, digital health channels commonly used i.e., SMS, USSD, Voice, E-commerce platform, SRH self-care products mostly utilized and respective percentages i.e. condoms, contraception, self-testing kits (HIV and pregnancy). The data was exported into Microsoft Excel for cleaning. Data was double checked to ensure that it is complete and consistent. STATA/SE 15.0 software was then employed for subsequent analysis. Simple descriptive statistics were used to describe the data. We evaluated the utilization of the different digital health platforms by youth using descriptive statistics (proportions for categorical variables and means for continuous variables) stratified by sex.
