Description

To compare cardiac, left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) and lung doses between deep inspiratory breath-hold (DIBH) and free breathing (FB) in women receiving adjuvant radiotherapy to the left chest wall and regional nodes after mastectomy. Deep inspiratory breath hold (DIBH) increases lung volume and displaces the heart away from the radiation field, thereby reducing cardiac exposure.
