Efficient, accurate, and reproducible bacterial typing is highly demanded in hospital hygiene management for infection control, epidemiological studies, tracking of bacterial cross-transmission, and monitoring of medical treatment processes. The forthcoming article "Protocol for Bacterial Typing using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy" described the detailed procedures for bacterial typing based on FT-IR spectroscopy. In this dataset, the files contains the set of code and data necessary to replicate the results in the article "Protocol for Bacterial Typing using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy" , forthcoming in the Journal of "STAR Protocols".
