Description

Data of regeneration survey in the frame of Pilis Forestry Systems Experiment. The study was carried out in an oakhornbeam forest in Hungary, in 2015-2018. The following variables of the regeneration were measured, after four different forestry treatments (clear-cutting, gap-cutting, preparation cutting, retention tree group) an in uncut control sites: - sessile oak acorn production, - species composition and abundance of natural regeneration in 2x2 m quadrats, - growth of individual planted saplings of five tree species, - growth of individual saplings from the natural regeneration (3 species).
