Description

A major concern with the ESKAPE pathogen Enterobacter bugandensis and other species of the Enterobacter cloacae complex, is the frequent appearance of multidrug resistance against last-resort antibiotics, such as polymyxins. We investigated polymyxin B (PmB) resistance and heteroresistance in two E. bugandensis clinical isolates by global transcriptomics and deletion mutagenesis. The datafiles in this dataset include (i) genome annotations of E. bugandensis E105227, E. bugandensis E104107, and E. Ludwigii E6218; (ii) RNAseq data comparing plus or minus polymyxin B treatment for E105227 and E104107; (iii) Protein interaction network analysis on E105227 based on RNAseq informastion; (iv) MS data for the idfentificatino of proteins in co-immunoprecipitates.
