Description

We gathered roost site data from three sources: i) satellite data from two tagged wild condors (an adult female and an immature male) tracked in north-eastern Colombia between 2019 and 2021 using Geotrack 65G Solar PTT trackers; ii) satellite data from three wild condors tracked between 2014 and 2017 using Microwave Telemetry satellite trackers (PTT-100 50 Gram Solar Patagial) (these individuals were tagged in Ecuador but used roosting sites in southern Colombia); and iii) roosts identified by direct observations between 2014 and 2021 across different parts of the Colombian Andes. The satellite data recorded 4640 GPS locations, from which we identified 461 roost sites in Colombia, 10 of which were verified by direct observations, here we have also the environmental and geomorphological data from each select and unselect site.
