Panel Dataset on UHC, AEC Integration, Labor Productivity, and Human Development in ASEAN, SAFTA, and ASEAN+3, 2000–2023

Description

This dataset supports a study examining whether pre-existing universal health coverage moderates the productivity and human development gains from ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) integration. Variables include labor productivity, the Human Development Index, the WHO UHC Service Coverage Index, and macroeconomic and governance controls, sourced from the World Bank, WHO, and UNDP. The accompanying Stata do-file reproduces the paper's descriptive statistics, parallel-trends diagnostics, and two-way fixed-effects difference-in-differences estimates with a triple interaction between AEC, treatment status, and pre-AEC UHC.
