Investigating Bilateral Hearing Loss, Cognitive Function, and Hearing Aid Use in Healthy Adults

The file includes: 28 Normal Hearing participants, 14 participants with untreated BHL and 17 participants who are HAs-users. Participants underwent a cognitive assessment including: 1. computerized cognitive assessment evaluating Composite Memory, Cognitive Flexibility, Executive Function (EF), Complex Reaction Time (RT), Sustained Attention, and Working Memory. 2. Paper-based Trail Making Test (TMT) A & B 3. Hearing Impairment Montreal Cognitive Assessment (HI-MoCA)/MoCA. 4. Cognitive task (subtracting 1 and 3)- Single and Dual task Outcomes in the dataset: ID Groups Demographic characteristics: age, gender, weight, height, race, health condition, medications, falls, exercise level and types, ABC, DHI, HL onset, HL duration, HL severity, Outcome measures: MOCA, HI MOCA, TMT A & B, CNSVS Raw and standardised scores: Composite Memory, Cognitive Flexibility, EF, Complex RT, Sustained Attention, and Working Memory, Cognitive task (subtracting 1 and 3)- Single and Dual task scores, DTC1 and DTC3.
