Description

Datasets for the measurement of chemical features (i.e., chemical composition, surface chemistry, oxides thickness and oxide-state analysis), physical characterisation (i.e., surface roughness, surface free energy, contact angles), metallurgical studies (i.e., crystal phases), biological characterisation with cell culture (i.e., pre-osteoblast adhesion, attachment, differentiation and maturation), and mechanical properties in compression (uniaxial, modulus of elasticity, stregth and strain at yield, strength-to-modulus ratio) of a famility of TiNbZrSnTa alloys that display various exemplars of alpha, beta and martensitic allotropes.
