Higher-order cycle induced tension
Description
This dataset contains the derived data and code used for the manuscript "Governing digital innovation under uncertainty: Higher-order network embeddedness, collaborative stability, and breakthrough constraints". The package includes the cleaned city-year panel dataset, derived network indicators, higher-order cycle centrality (HOCC) measures, network disintegration metrics, variable definitions, coding schemes, data-processing scripts, figure-generation scripts, and statistical analysis code. The raw patent records used to construct the derived indicators were obtained from a third-party patent database and are not included because they cannot be publicly redistributed due to database licensing restrictions. The shared files provide the derived datasets and documentation necessary to verify the empirical analyses reported in the manuscript.
