Description

This dataset collects the raw data for the electrochemical measurements for the article "Electrochemical Characterisation of Raney Nickel Electrodes for Alkaline Water Electrolysis: From Laboratory to Industrial Scale". Measurements with 4 setups for studying alkaline water electrolysis are included: three-electrode setup (3E), two-electrode flow cell with plastic tubing (2EP), two-electrode flow cell with metal piping (2EM) with two different cell configurations defined as 2EMC1 and 2EMC2 and a stack with 17 unit cells (S). Polarisation curve measurements are given for all setups, including polarisation curves measured for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) with the 3E setup. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) data is given at different current densities for all experiments except the measurements with the stack. For 3E-2, 3E-3, 2EP-1, 2EP-2, and 2EMC1-3 experiments data for repeated measurements are included. More details about the measurement conditions are to be published.
