The files in this dataset provide the data to report the paleomagnetism and rock magnetism results of the paper: "Full vector paleomagnetic estimation from the Parana-Etendeka Large Igneous Province, southern Brazil: Implications on the onset of Cretaceous Normal Superchron". The Paleomagnetism folder contains the paleodirections data in a .col file for analysis on the https://www.paleomagnetism.org page (Koymans et al. 2016) (Data S1) and the paleointensity data in a .txt file for analysis on the https://paleointensity.org page (Béguin et al. 2020) (Data S2). The Rock Magnetism folder contains the data to generate the susceptibility versus temperature curves (Data S3) in an Excel file, the hysteresis data in a .mat work session for the HystLab program of Paterson et al. (2018) (Data S4), the . txt files within a zipped file for analyzing the curves in the MaxUnimx program (https://maxunmix.shinyapps.io/MAX_UnMix_final_version/) of Maxbauer et al. (2016) (Data S5) and the raw FORC data in a zipped file for analysis in the program of Harrison, R. J., & Feinberg, J. M. (2008) version 3.08.
