Description

The code and data files help to replicate the paper “The economics of water scarcity in the Americas”. This version includes all the raw Excel, CSV and Stata files, which allow for full replication of every code. A single main do file “Main_WaterScarcity_FMM_2025.do" replicates the entire paper with one click. Links to the raw data sources are also included in the README.

Steps to reproduce

Download all files and create the Codes, Data, Outputs folders, then the sub-folders. Run “Main_WaterScarcity_FMM_2025.do" in Stata. It is the main file that runs all the sub-codes from beginning to end.
