Description

In this database, we show all the nickel isotope data collecting from the samples of the Earth's surfacial systems. We bulid this nickel isotope database aiming to help the researchers to quickly get the information about nickel isotope compositions of Earth's systems and explore the geochemical processes using the nickel isotope tool and this database. Nickel Isotope Database (NID) compiles the samples that most are from Earth's surfacial systems and it is divided 7 parts including 1. Ni isotope compositions of universal and Earth reservoirs that directly cite from the published database 2. Materials from deeper Earth and oil, coal ect. 3. Biological samples 4. Atmosphere samples 5. Soils 6. River and river sediments 7. Seawater and marine sediments Update Log: 2026-5-21 & 2026-5-26 We upload two new excel documents that compile the nickel isotope fractionation data from the laboratory experiments, in which the behavior and mechansim of nickel isotope fractionation were quantitatively investigated by controlling the experimental parameters. This nickel isotope fractionation database from laboratory experiments including: 1. Biological cultivation 2. Organic complexation 3. Mineral adsorption, precipitation, dissolution and phase transformation We will continue to update this database when the new data is published. Hope you can enjoy it!
