The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ability of CD61, CD41, CD42a, CD42b and CD42c to stain megakaryocytes and micromegakaryocytes in BMBs from patientes aged 0-18 years diagnosed with MDS or non-neoplastic cytopenia, and their correlation with staining rate, age, and sensitivity and specificity for micromegakaryocytes.
