Description

This dataset supports the research article titled "Improving Payload Efficiency in Open-Pit Mining: An Integrated Model Using Six Sigma and Artificial Intelligence". The data was collected from a mining operation and includes two Excel files: one representing the baseline scenario (Dataset Before.xlsx) and the other reflecting the post-improvement results (Dataset After.xlsx) after applying the integrated Six Sigma–AI model. The statistical analysis includes descriptive statistics and process capability indices (Pp and Ppk), which were calculated to evaluate performance changes and verify alignment with Six Sigma standards. In addition, a third document (Prompt_ROCF_utilizado_en_el_estudio.docx) provides the AI prompt used to generate structured outputs in this study, following the ROCF methodology (Role, Objective, Conditions, Format). This dataset was used to demonstrate how AI-assisted methodologies can enhance decision-making in operational efficiency projects.
