Description

This dataset contains raw and processed videos of bubble and thermal, thermal imaging data, emissivity calculations, and bubble behaviour data related to the investigation of the relationship between oxygen bubble behaviour and local thermal stress in PEM water electrolysers (PEMWE). 1. High-speed imaging of bubble nucleation dynamics at the PTL/CL interface and top within a PEMWE 2. Synchronised bubble and thermal visualisation from the front view (FV) and cross-sectional view (CSV) snapshot to guide the processed videos 3. Water-layer thickness visualisation for thermal imaging for emissivity concerns showing over limit and right level of water visibility 4. Emissivity calculations and snapshot for accurate local temperature measurement at hotspot locations 5. Bubble Size Analysis from CSV and FV. 6. Localised thermal spikes at the bubble coalescence stage in the cross-sectional view at 0.1 A cm⁻², 0.5 A cm⁻² and 1 A cm⁻² 7. Localised thermal spikes at the bubble coalescence stage in the front view at 0.1 A cm⁻², 0.5 A cm⁻² and 1 A cm⁻².
