Description

This dataset contains the comprehensive data utilized to implement supply chain network design optimization models. The repository encompasses 4 distinct scenarios, each evaluated across 10 independent instances. The file nomenclature follows a standardized format: The scenario identifier (S1, S2, S3, S4) is followed by the specific instance code (I1 to I10). Each Excel workbook comprises the following five sheets: 1. Production_Plants_Data: Contains the geographical location of the production facilities, their company ownership, and capacity limits. For scenarios S2 and S4, it also includes the enterprise size classification (small, medium, or large). 2. Hubs_Data: Details the location of the distribution hubs, their company ownership, and operational capacity. Similarly, scenarios S2 and S4 feature the enterprise size classification. 3. Distances_PP_Hubs: Provides the distance matrix from each production plant to each hub, indicating their respective locations and company ownership. 4. Demand: Specifies the consumption centers and their corresponding demand requirements. 5. Distances_Hubs_CC: Represents the distance matrix from each hub to each consumption center, detailing hub locations and their company ownership. Finally, the repository includes a comprehensive workbook titled Results, which presents the performance outcomes of three distinct mathematical models: a traditional model (where each enterprise independently utilizes its own resources), a collaborative model, and a Physical Internet (PI)-based model. For each scenario and instance, this file details key performance indicators, including the optimization GAP, total costs, total emissions, the average utilization rate of the hubs, and the total number of trips executed.
