CDK5 in Alzheimer's Disease

Description

Peripheral blood was collected from 52 Saudi AD patients and 60 healthy Saudi population. Genomic DNA was extracted using standard protocols and quantified with a NanoDrop One spectrophotometer. CDK5 exons 1, 2, 6, 7, and 12 were amplified and subjected to the Sanger Sequencing method (ABI3500Analyzer). Mutation analysis focused on identifying novel genetic variants and their distribution among cases and controls.
