Description

This dataset contains Julia source code implementing a phase field method for simulating high-cycle fatigue fracture in materials. The code features an adaptive switching algorithm that alternates between Newton-Raphson and Modified Newton-Raphson solution schemes for computational efficiency. This implementation supports 2D single edge notched tension (SENT) specimens under displacement-controlled loading conditions. The code includes multiple fatigue degradation functions, strain decomposition strategies, and automatic crack tracking capabilities with VTK output for visualization. Keywords: Phase field modeling, High-cycle fatigue, Crack propagation If you use this code in your research, please cite the following paper:: Azinpour, E., Gil, J., Darabi, R., De Jesus, A., Reis, A., & De Sá, J.
