This data is associated with Thotagamuwa, Russell and Demissie “PLANT NEIGHBORHOOD COMPOSITION DRIVES SPATIAL VARIATION IN WHITE-TAILED DEER (ODOCOILEUS VIRGINIANUS) BROWSING INTENSITY IN XERIC WOODLANDS” in review by Forest Ecology and Management. This dataset contains quantifications of deer browsing damage and data on associated variables at five different spatial scales for 245 oak seedlings collected across the Cross Timbers woodlands in Kansas and Oklahoma. The VariableDescription.csv file provides a guidance on the definitions and units of all variables used in the study. StudySites.csv file contains information about the data collected sites.
