Description

This dataset contains the experimental and numerical data supporting the manuscript. It includes fresh-state test results, consistency measurements, density data, squeeze-flow force-displacement curves or processed fitting outputs, Herschel--Bulkley parameters, OpenFOAM post-processing data, CFD spreading measurements, model error calculations and plotting scripts used to generate the manuscript figures.

Steps to reproduce

1. Use the files in 01_raw_experimental_data to inspect the fresh-state, particle-size distribution and squeeze-flow experimental data. 2. Use the files in 02_processed_rheology_outputs to reproduce the Roussel yield-stress estimates and Herschel-Bulkley fitting parameters. 3. Use the Python scripts in 04_plotting_scripts to regenerate the density, consistency, rheological and model-error figures. 4. Use the OpenFOAM dictionaries in 05_OpenFOAM_case_settings to reproduce the CFD spreading simulations. 5. Use the post-processing files in 03_CFD_postprocessing_data to compare experimental and simulated radius and height at 15, 30 and 60 s.
