Description

This dataset contains detailed information on peer-reviewed journal review articles and research articles analysed in a study on industrial digitalization and its technological foundations. The selected publications focus on key Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 technologies, including industrial automation, the Internet of Things/Industrial Internet of Things (IoT/IIoT), cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI). The compilation covers publications from 2020 to 2025, retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science, and serves as the evidence base for the systematic analysis presented in the study. For each article, the dataset provides bibliographic details, article type, applied theory(ies), methodology, and key findings.
